About Dr. Burwell
Dr. Robert M. Burwell is celebrating 30 years of excellence in dentistry in the community of Claremont where he was born and raised. His dedication to providing high quality, comprehensive care for all of his clients has earned him an excellent reputation. Dr. Burwell is proud to have developed a relationship-based practice where clients are confident that their dental needs are met with the utmost integrity.
Dr. Burwell is committed to continuing education as a means of informing, implementing and utilizing the latest advanced techniques in all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic and implant dentistry. He has been a participant at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Newport Harbor Academy of Dentistry, and the Mt. Baldy branch of the Seattle Study Club, and is an evaluator for Gordon Christiansen’s Clinical Research Group.
Dr. Burwell completed his dental education at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. After two years in Public Health, he returned to Southern California and opened his practice in 1980. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Burwell spent five years as a Fighter Pilot in the United States Navy.
Dr. Burwell is married to Jan. In his leisure time, he enjoys riding European motorcycles, fly-fishing and snow skiing.
